Played a game last night, afterwards I realised I went for 5 turns without rolling a helmet – the lone one that you can convert to 2 saga dice. That's something like 30 rolls.
Then I remembered my last game, a gambit to take out the enemy warlord, with fatigues exchanges I needed 5 or 6 to wound, I had 17 dice…

And??? Did you take him out?
Only joking, Joy and Misery side by side. .. usually on the wrong side.

Saga is a blast! With some factions you simply MUST get a 6 almost every turn to be effective (Welsh). Another few, 6's just do not mater much at all (Pagan Rus).

For some reason certain people are very good at rolling 6's. NOT ME…. and that's why I have the Pagan's.

Been there, done that. More than once.

Possible, but statistically suspect. I had a set of dice, themed for the game I was playing and pricey at that (not Saga), which kept rolling low. One game, I shrug it off. Two games, I worry. Three games, time to nerd out and find out what's happening.

Performed a controlled test to confirm that the dice were biased. Instead of rolling an expected 5.5 on each roll (they were D10) they had an average of around 4.1. Die number 7 in the test was under 4. Now I save those dice form opponents :).

Have you tested your dice? Could be biased. The saga dies are filled in to try and balance them fairly but that can always fail.

Hmmm, might be time to buy blank blocks/dice and spray/ stencil ….but too much work.

I find saga much fun, but my probability bell curve seems to be way out of whack.
Most stories that stick, are stories when you lose…😩
Doesn't really matter because even if I had a fantastic result in the battle, the opposing warlord would have probably saved…😜
