Fantastic game!

I searched your blog and did not see an answer to this question…

Your playing surface (mat?). Is it actually "3D"? Is it just flock spread over the surface or is it "glued" down?

Thanks!

Hi Neal……thanks for checking it out……it's all 3D….plain mat with flock, bushes, and trees laid down…….BTC style.

Great game and a fantastic write up and kudos to the Marder crew for holding their nerve in their combat with the T-34!

Interesting duel with the tanks. If I've understood this right the Soviets have a T34/85, which has AP 10 and the Marder II has armour of 3, the Soviet AP strike rolls must have been pretty dreadful to inflict such little damage. Under normal circumstances I'd expect to see the Marder in a bit of trouble if it doesn't take the T34 out in its opening fire phase.
