Cacique Caribe, Tango01, Winston Smith and a very few others are the main attraction to The Miniatures Page. It's the people here that make this site worthwhile.

Without this cast of characters there is little reason to come here.

Until the issue is resolved? Without Dan's permission, I don't think it would be appropriate to go into the specifics of what they are discussing.

I enjoy his posts on gaming material, but recently I've just avoided his posts because of the constant insertion of social/political sniping. I hope he comes back but tries to keep the social commentary to the Fez Room for folks who want to indulge in that sort of thing, and we can all enjoy talking about gaming and media in the other threads.

Based on what I have experienced and seen here … That does not always occur … And probably won't …

I don't recall see this type of thread here before. That is, people asking for mercy on behalf of a locked member.

I expect Dan is being kept informed.

Finally, I would like to add my voice in Dan's favor. We are poorer without him.

Some folks need to act mature and let Dan back, period.

That is the best move for TMP.

You could suggest a poll along the lines of… "Are your fellow wargamers the main attraction at TMP?" or "Are certain hobby celebrities the main attraction at TMP?"

I would refuse to participate in such a poll. You know my feelings about such polls dealing in personalities. All they are trolling attempts to solicit personal attacks.

Imho we not need a turn-off about Winston or myself… this is about Cacique Caribe and we still didn't know why he cannot post on TMP… that's the matter of this thread… I remember you. with all my respect, that the "exile" last 25 days…

Well, it looks like I'm back!

The 31-day vacation was fun and relaxing. I even came back with a nice golden tan and a fresh outlook.

I want to thank those who spoke well of me here, or that at least gave me the benefit of the doubt. I won't forget you guys. So, in the coming days I'll be putting up a few items for sale in Marketplace, and you guys will get a 20% break off the price on each lot. Look for that later this week.
