Hi guys,
I am starting to paint my 550-650 Roman-Byzantine army and wondering if I could get some help with what colours to use for the uniforms. White? Blue? Red? What is the consensus of this group? I have some Osprey's and The Armies and Enemies of series.
Thanks.

I went white, blue, red, and green, after the colours of the chariot teams. NOT very sound.

They are, essentially, a Late Roman army. Paint accordingly

Thanks, I like both.

I have almost no imagination so I usually just use the Osprey books. I suggest you look up "lewisgunner" ,"Roy Boss" and send him a message, asking this question!
