Thoroughbred's is a brand that offers very beautiful ships at 1/600 for the American Civil War. The level of detail is high and sets of opponents are sold resuming some famous naval duels of this war.

I've been buying them for at least 17 years.

Best ACW naval models out there.

Beautiful models whether you use them for wargaming or not.

I have many Thoroughbred ships and they are joy to work on and game with.

Those are really nice. 1/600 seems really large to game with, but those are really nice. I may change my mind.

You need around a 9x6' table to truly maneuver the ships, but even on a "river" just 3' wide they work. Add in a rules set like Steam and Black Powder and its all good!

Glad you like them too my friend!.

It's always nice to see good comments about my work. Thank you all. I hope to post two new 1/600 scale releases onto the website within the next week.

They also now sell a line of ACW Ships scaled at 1/1200. They are under the Odds and Ends page. Range getting bigger fast.
