Over the weekend I finished the Battle of Cheraw game that was generated by my on-going South Carolina 1780 Campaign. Cornwallis and Gates have clashed at Cheraw, South Carolina, resulting in a crushing British victory over the rebels. Visit my Der Alte Fritz Journal blog for the complete report that includes 18 pictures of the game in progress. All figures shown in the picture are Fife & Drum 1/56 scale figures and the terrain was made by Herb Gundt. link

Der Alte Fritz: Just received my Minden figures of Grenadiers de France, ("Grand Duchy of Chardonnay") a couple of days ago. Only hope to do them some justice. Thanks, John Miller |

The game mat was made by The Terrain Guy, sadly now out of business. |

Lovely looking game – the 'fallen trees' simple, free, one of many nice scenic touches EC |
