Time for a Stretch Goal……. First Stretch Goal Should funding reach £1,200.00 GBP then the Mk 20 model will be added to The Third Collective.
The Mk 20 of the series has been programmed to work as a specialist version of the 'Academic and Tuition' model normally associated with the Mk 4. This model has been designed to educate very young children and has the option of various removable 'head' coverings to help facilitate this as the very young seem to particularly enjoy and react better to this than a standard 'Tuition' model, especially when the covering is of a popular children's entertainment character. link |

The Mk 14 The first model from the Third Collective to be featured is the Mk 14, known as the 'Hunter'. The Mk 14 has a somewhat sinister appearance with it's visor, aerial and armour plating. This model is normally employed by law enforcement agencies to track fugitive criminals. It is equipped with a whole host of detection devices within its tough exoskeleton.
This model is also occasionally used by military forces, but in that circumstance will often carry a 'weapon upgrade'. There are also rumours that a few models have actually gone 'rogue; and are operating as independent Bounty Hunters, a claim that is vehemently denied by the BB Corporation. link |

The Mk 15 The next model from the Third Collective to be featured is the Mk 15, the 'Security' model. The Mk 15 has an imposing blank expression that helps accentuate it's imposing appearance. Armed with an inbuilt laser weapon and heavily armoured, the Mk 15 is a very effective, albeit expensive, option to provide security and protection. This model is most commonly employed by private corporations to protect its employees and property, although it has also been used by the more immoral elements of society for their own purposes.
This model is also occasionally used by military forces, although its programming is often modified for this as the base model is very limited in scope regarding 'decision making' and can be easily outwitted by sentient intelligence. |

The Mk 16 The next model from the Third Collective to be featured is the Mk 16, the 'Firefighter' model. This model is made from an extremely heat-resistant alloy and usually has the appearance of wearing the uniform of a traditional Firefighter, with a yellow 'helmet' making them very distinct in an emergency situation They also feature a removable fireproof 'cloak' that can be wrapped around a living creature that is being carried to safety from a conflagration, whilst the detachable 'mask' on their 'face' can deliver a supply of whatever combination of gases are needed to keep the rescued alive.
. This model suffers from fire damage over time and many units become so charred that they are often seen to be all black in colour, the yellow on their 'helmets' and legs completely burnt away. |

The first Stretch Goal has been Unlocked, so the Mk 20 has been added taking the Collective up to seven miniatures in total. The Mk 20 has been programmed to work as a specialist version of the 'Academic and Tuition' model normally associated with the Mk 4.
This model has been designed to educate very young children and has the option of various removable 'head' coverings to help facilitate this as the very young seem to particularly enjoy and react better to this than a standard 'Tuition' model, especially when the covering is of a popular children's entertainment character. Another Stretch Goal will be added tomorrow….. |

The Mk 17 Next up from the Third Collective to be featured is the Mk 17, the 'Ettiquette' model. This model is designed primarily to work in a diplomatic role and has a gentle appearance and manner to help facilitate this function. It has a basic programme which can be enhanced with various modules dependant on the subject race or nation to be negotiated with.
. It is also utilised by corporations when negotiating business deals where the ability to 'read' another being and say the right thing would be advantageous, but is most commonly found on diplomatic missions galaxy-wide. link

The Mk 18 and Mk 19 To finish the series on the Third Collective the final two models to be featured are the Mk 18, the 'General Information' model and the Mk 19, Mechanical Repair.
. The Mk 18 is most often found in hospitality roles in the retail and tourist industries. It has a enormous capacity for information and appears to really enjoy conveying this, although some may find it a little 'over enthusiastic' to the point of being annoying. The Mk 19 is another common model as it is the cheapest and, some would would say most reliable, general mechanical repair 'droid in the galaxy. It is often said that this model can repair anything. And usually does! Neither of these last two models may not be the most sophisticated or attractive, but they are certainly amongst the most under-appreciated around. ++++++++++++++++++++++ The campaign is about to enter it's final 24 hours and that second Stretch Goal os still a possibility: link |
