Oldenburg, please – withtout the h. Proud independent allies of Prussia (avoiding thus to be rolled up into the territory claimed by Prussia from Hannover). From someone who lived there for 20+ years… Thanks :-) |

A lot of the "S" figures lend themselves to conversions with just a paint job and a simple head swap. You just have to know the figures available. Great job! |

Hi Puster My apologies for the mis-spelling. You are right about Oldenburg I always like to try to do a bit of research about these duchies before starting out and Oldenburg was, as you say, a proud ally, rather than a reluctant one as some were. Hi Cyrus, you are right, I find the Lone S ranger site really handy to look at some of the figures and ranges I am not familiar with when I am looking for figures to convert or 'head swaps' or repaints. To all contributors, Many thanks for posting as I have said in the past and will no doubt, hopefully, say in the future it is much appreciated. |

Alan Absolutely inspirational. Reminded me of a superb ACW campaign I took part in back in the '80s, 15mm minis painted in the same style allowing great games, with people concentrating on the game not hung up on any uber detail of the figures. |
