Another well-written book on this subject is The Attack of the H.M.S. Nimrod: Wareham and the War of 1812, by J. North Conway and Jesse Dubuc. It was published by the History Press in 2014. The ISBN is 978.1.62584.945.8.

Wareham is a small town on Buzzards Bay (MA). During the War of 1812, a number of privateers were based or built there.
