Attorney Parks WWII Tank in Front of Multi-Million Dollar Home and the Neighbors are Not Pleased

"Tony Buzbee is an attorney in Houston. Tony Buzbee is also a history buff. Tony Buzbee, the attorney and history buff, spent $600,000 USD on a World War II-era Sherman tank. Then Tony Buzbee parked his tank in front of his home in a high-property value district of the city.

Life would be pretty good except that Tony Buzbee has neighbors and those neighbors are not pleased to see Tony's tank when they look out their windows. They have contacted the homeowners association, the River Oaks Property Owners, to voice their concerns about increased traffic in the neighborhood from sightseers and complain about the safety issues that they feel come along with having a WWII tank on the street.

Buzbee understands that some people aren't happy with this piece of history, but doesn't feel it is hurting anyone at all. Children come over to climb on it. Area residents have stopped by to check it out. In Buzbee's mind, the tank is a value-add for the community"

Useful during flooding, as well.

Why would anyone want to own a Sherman tank?

Because it's very hard to shoot yourself while you're cleaning it.

If he is driving around in his Sherman, is that "open carry" (because you can see the weapon) or "concealed carry" (because you can't see him)?

I assume it now carries all the modern mandated safety stuff like rear view mirrors and driver side airbags in case of a crash?

Bwwwwaaaahahahahahahahahahh!

Sorry, the medication is cutting in.

Well, it's on the street so I would think there is a 72 hour limit on that. You couldn't park a mobile home on my street for more than 72 hours.
I also imagine it pays hell on the underground pipes and drains. If he had a bigger yard he should but it on his lawn.

So would you ticket it, tow it or put on a Denver Boot?

The M4 was the first tank with a fully revolving turret.

No it wasn't!
