Thanks for all the comments guy, I'm glad you like them. They do look imposing, its something I really like about the minis. Ah, of course, you are right about the standard. I'm not sure what happened there… In regards to the purple colours there are a few references, but its more inspired by the Sassanid iconography and shield designs. The client and I decided there was some historical backing, but mostly it 'looked good'. :) |
