Has anyone tried Mark Sims Great Battles Hex War? I have been looking for reviews or any discussion but haven't found anything but ads. I was wondering if anyone had actually played it and what their thoughts were, thanks TMP brain trust. |

Never heard of it. Rule book, boardgame, PC game? |

I've thought about it since I do like their March Attack rules. For only $9 USD on Wargamers Vault, I should take the plunge. |

I have thought about it, but I always trip up over the fact that commercial hex terrain is lovely but expensive, and I have never really found a satisfactory way of doing 3D home-made hill hexes. Perhaps I will give it a go as a DIY boardgame one day. |
