Checked it out 2 days ago. Renovations are on schedule. The new doors to the tennis court are almost finished (day or two). New AC ducts and blowers are being installed (day or three more). No sinkholes. |

The new entrance is positioned around the left side of the barn (thru/around the old pro shop) and the new entrance is on the ground level which is now wheelchair accessible. TRU |

When I got my vendor's package with the layout it was very confusing! :) I could scarcely recognize the place. You enter on the ground level in the middle of the south wall. It looks like the rest room have been rebuilt and there's now a kitchen in the northwest corner. The aisles between the tables run the other direction now. |

Well the Host is the devil we know. I have never found it that terrible. But then again, I avoid the high room rates and stay an a cheap motel down the road. But for gaming space, I much prefer it to Historicon's current site. |

I think everyone will be happy with the new layout for the vendor hall, there will be more changes to come as we prep for the ever changing venues we will be exploring for potential future show locations. There is a lot happening at the Host…. unfortunately, rates will go up as will HMGS' cost to rent/be there…. The Host has very graciously agreed to implement those changes slowly as the changes happen so there isn't one huge sticker shock from one year to the next. I think it is a good thing… The Host is a very nice facility in the grand scheme of things.. it is perfect for what we need/want…. I look forward to it being totally overhauled…. I just hope it remains within our price range to continue using it. |
