I plan to do a large 1/300th, 1/600th or 1/350th scale WW1 aircraft campaign, and wonder on recommendations on what supplier to use. In other words the best bang for the buck. Future thanks. PS Does anybody produce 1/700th scale WW1 aircraft?

Pretty sure I've written this in other threads but H&R and MSD (ex-Hostile Aircraft/ Goblintooth) are the best all round in metal. Have different looks so you might want to go with one or the other. CinC is prettier but fragile and fiddly. Skytrex is ok but a bit basic. Couple of Shapeways guys are really good, use them to fill in H&R. Irregular is very basic.

1/600th are done by Tumbling Dice and OO (via PicoArmour in the US). Both missing some important aircraft from the period but both good models.
