Great paint job considering what looks like a black undercoat. Judging from the flag colors it looks like you mounted commander is leading one of the second battalions.

Give me black undercoat any day. It forgives a multitude of sins. Someone did say white base and then a black wash which is actually simply genius. But my latest project is the 95th….black base is right..

Anyone who can paint "simple" white uniforms like this has all my respect. I have now discovered how good is Ivory…from von W et al….but…as soon as I add white…..it ruins it….."muddy"

Lovely work, the black lining really defines the white.
