Great video. Made my mind up and I'll get this rule set at the next show. |

I saw the video as well and liked it a lot. How are the cards coming along? Thanks Michael |

Thanks, Michael. I was biting my tongue. I ended up buying the PDF to print my own, but the sheets end up a bit fuzzy. Here's a link to a post I put on LAF that in turn has links to a couple of video AAR's, and the video from the Kickstarter. Least, I think it's from there. Doug |

You're welcome Doug since I needed to ask that question regarding the cards. On another note my friend was able to paint up the first 4 Spanish ships and they look very good when the rest are painted I'll post a link to the pictures. Also have you heard that Brigade has redone some more French ships? They redid the Loire Battleship and did a new French Battleship the Massena and they also redid their Les Arc Dig Carrier as well, and I heard that the British will be worked on early next year. And lastly my Aeronef/Imperial Skies minis collection now stands at 1,096. Michael |

Just watched the video Doug and it looked pretty good. A question for you might it be possible for you to come up with some scenarios for me to use with my Aeronef/Imperial Skies games that I want to run at local conventions? Michael |
TheBeast | 10 Oct 2017 6:05 a.m. PST |
Michael, we seem to be having parallel conversations between here and LAF. ;->= Long answer there, short answer: We're just beginning, but we've ideas. Doug |
Captain Gideon | 10 Oct 2017 8:17 p.m. PST |
Doug my problem is simple I have the ships but what I lack is good ideas for scenarios, although I've come up with a few scenarios but what I lack is the bigger scope of the scenarios. I have enough ships to do almost any type of Battle but coming up with ideas is pretty tough for me. So any help would be grateful. Michael |

Michael, I'm not sure we're to the point of giving fleshed out documents to you, but I would suggest you look at other games and steal like a pirate! Many of my schemes involve outright theft of ideas from spaceship games, naval games from Nappy on, and the like. I will say, right now, I agree with Sean that IS is more mano a mano, and Aeronef might work better for multiple players, though I thought he did a sterling job at Recruits. And, again, I was thoroughly trashed. Doug |

Doug I'm not asking that I just need some help from time to time, but I'm sure to get some help from some of my friends. For me it takes a lot longer to come up with an idea for a scenario than most people. |

What is the maximum fleet size with the rules as is? The command dice rules would need changing for a grand fleet because 1d6 just wouldn't be enough. |
TheBeast | 08 Dec 2017 8:28 a.m. PST |
@Adrian66, sorry I missed your question. To tell the truth, I agree the command dice rules are a bit off, but for smaller games. I think they dominate in the very small, and that number of points move to 'color' in the large games Mr. Fitton has spoken of. I think he mentions 'thirty ships' somewhere. Anyway, it would make sense to expand the rule, or in my case, restrict some of the commands to lessen the effects. I've also considered breaking out the averaging dice, to make the rolls a bit less lopsided. YMMV, as it does with most of the folk I game. Doug |
