On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high), what would be your level of interest in a miniature wargaming show that was focused on the American Civil War? |

9. But it wouldn't matter if it were 11 if it were more than one day's travel time. This answer applies to any period-specific historical miniatures gaming convention between the coming of uniforms and the introduction of subdued colors. |

9 But I think we would be in the minority especially in the UK compared to other eras like WW2 Naps etc. |

I would be pretty interested if it was close by, I guess. But are wargames conventions currently so over-crowded that we need to break them up into much more specific shows? I guess I've only been to one (Little Wars in Illinois), but if you were to just limit it to the ACW stuff, might as well just get together at someone's house. |

10 if I can drive to it in a few hours. 8 if it's a long trip but close to a major airport. 3 otherwise. |

Not a big fan of conventions (so a 0 for that score), but a 10 for content. |

If it had skirmish & naval games & more obscure scenarios for battles outside the AoNV theater as well as "Big Battle" table groaners then for me it would be a 10 if it was in the DFW Metroplex. My interest would decline the further the drive. |

You guys should have gone to Origins '78. Terrible Swift Sword all weekend long! Don't know how many games they played but I know they ran every day of Gettysburg. |

You guys who aren't familiar with it ought to take a look at the Annual Seven Years War Association Convention. No, they don't have a cute name. And attendance is in the low three figures. But they'll cover just about anything from Marlborough to the French Revolution, land and sea, and I think any scale from 5mm to 54mm. They can get suitable guest speakers, and the dealers seem to do well because only those with tricorne lines come, and they know what to pack. Something similar for ACW (or Napoleonics) would be a great show. |

9 I love JR3 ,but he big convention is too far away. Historicon had a number of ACW games, but all at the same time. |
Dynaman8789 | 29 Sep 2017 3:27 p.m. PST |
1 – I can get all the ACW gaming I want at the 3 HMGS cons as it is. Would hate to fragment the hobby even more. |

0 in general, but 10 if it was tied in to a specific event at a battle site that was part of a commemoration. Then again I'm on the wrong side of the pond to go unless it was something really special. I've been involved in some WW1 only events at the Royal Armouries in Leeds which are fun, but don't exactly draw a huge crowd. |

10 – but depends on when and where, Haven't been able to go to Historicon due to work for about 7 years. Would have loved going to Fredricksburg |
