As you say, nicely done, but too tall for a bunker and too small for a fort. That said, grab a dozen or so figures and use it for a skirmish.

The French in Indochina used to put out little bunkers with local squads, which the Viet Minh would pick off one at a time. So in their honor, put a few Imp Guard in and around the bunker and have some sort of subversives--Tyrannids, Gene-stealers, Chaos--attack the place with an unknown number of turns before the relief shows up. Plenty of fun to be had without a full-scale battle.

Skirmish gaming is a sound plan, Robert. Unfortunately I don't really play 40K anymore, but I was thinking similar thoughts. A hold out scenario would be cool.
Another option would be using the "bunker" as an objective. Perhaps opposing sides have an interest in getting into that bunker. What could it hold? Who gets there first can find out. Or, perhaps both sides already know what's in there, and one side wants in while the other side wants to keep them out.
