Whilst soldiers will remain right at the centre of decision-making, the aim is to remove soldiers from some dangers, increasingly using an unmanned network for hazardous tasks…"

That looks like kind of a dangerous scenario – I'm sure the guys walking into battle would rather be in the tank.

Reminds me of a novel…warfare on the moon. One guy in a tank controls/programs smaller tanks to scout ahead, but they required line of sight to change orders. So 'battles' were fairly slow moving things but with lots of decision making and typing at a maddening pace.

Don't know how involved the humans would be in the image above. Too many smaller vehicles to track for one person, really messed up decision making if being controlled by a committee.
