Here's my first attempt at a few command figures, and using a light tent and posting via Flickr, so lots could go wrong….<p>Napoleon and friends having a day out at Waterloo
A day out in Belgium
Sire, I don't think it is Grouchy
French Marshall d'Erlon and ADC
Marshall Reille and Cuirassier as ADC
These are mostly Perry, with Front Rank ADC's I've taken some liberty with the sash and arm band colours, as really these will be used as Brigade commanders not Mashals, my dinner table is only big enough for Brigade level battles. |

Nicely done. My only comment is that neither D'Erlon nor Reille were marshals under Napoleon. |

Thanks, yeah they've turned out alright on my iPad, better than just taking a photo in daylight. Not bad for a £7.00 GBP light tent from amazon that makes my painting look better than it is :-) @Artilleryman, just checked and you are right, not marshalls at waterloo, but I don't think it changes anything painting wise ? They are brigade commanders for my purposes anyway. |
