Perrys do listen. They even mention this forum as inspiring this release. They have given us standing horses as an option. There will also be separate metal heads for the plastic hussars….

They gave us eclaireurs when we asked. Now these. Praise be unto the Perrys!

A thought. Those six standing horses could be used for so many other figures (lancers, chasseurs, hussars etc). Could they almost be a viable sales product in themselves?

Yes, fantastic news even though I have already done them using Perry plastic hussars.

The Perry Twins are evil, utterly evil and Iwould like to tell them so. But not until they have posted the 2 units of these lovely figures,

Tally Ho!

de Ligne…if you have not done all four regiments…..and remember these are wearing their pelisse, they are less "heroically" posed and are irresistible……

and yes. The Perrys are a very bad influence on us all

Lovely looking figures.

I'd second Deadhead's suggestion about selling the standing horses separately.

setsuko22 Sep 2017 2:06 p.m. PST

I'd buy separate standing horses, yes.

Personally I used to like it when all horses and riders were sold separately. It allowed so much variety and flexibility.

There is a God
that doesn't need a golden calf but instead Eclaireurs and now GdH!!!!!
All hail A&P Perry high priests of lead and plastic. I pledge fielty and rally to your colours Napoleonic

Very pretty- but can they fight?

Excellent indeed! These will be added to my collection, whether they can fight or not. Thank you Perrys for the standing horses.

These standing horses were always an option with their chasseurs a cheval and there is a simply wonderful set of standing cuirassiers with appropriate horses……you can get some ACW standing horses with the horseholder set for British.

Now, if we had Guard Light cavalry type shabraques on standing horses. How much would that transform chasseurs a Cheval, Lancers etc?

I do think standing horses , maybe a set of six, would really sell. OK, you'd still have to buy the madly charging cavalry, but horses rarely go to waste.
