I am considering to do an Iran-Iraq tank war campaign, using 1/700th scale tanks, using Shapeways designer, Kokoda Company tanks. They have T-62 and T-55 tanks. Also, M-60 tanks, and Centurion tanks. I know they are small, but I am considering buying hundreds of them. Has anybody ever bought these tanks, and could anybody please give me a review of these products, and maybe a photo. Any useful info would be great. Future thanks.

I would recommend using Oddzial's 1/600, as a cost-saving measure. Take a look at Pico Armor for good photos.

Kokoda is great for odds and ends, but the detail is lacking for me to use them to build an entire army.

Thank you for the info The White Dog. Could you tell me how bad is the lacking detail on Kokoda models.

He seems to have trouble with scaling AFV hulls properly on some of the models. I think it stems more from the program he uses to model the vehicles in. The photos and renders are harder to view with the vehicles, but you can see the difficulty he has with certain shapes on some of the aircraft.

None of this is a criticism of his overall work, however, as he had made many things available that would be otherwise impossible to find.

I don't know about others, but if I buy something from shapeways, I usually pay for the FUD-material, so I like to get models with lots of detail.

Everything I have seen from Micro Masters looks pretty good. I've never ordered anything of theirs, but the models look very nicely detailed.
