Terrifying moment Russian helicopter accidentally opens fire on bystanders with MISSILES due to 'technical glitch' during Zapad 2017 war games, seriously injuring two people

Well something got blown up, thats good enough for the Russians.

paulgenna20 Sep 2017 8:00 a.m. PST

Was the technical glitch the pilot or the bystanders?

Maybe it was a " What does this do moment "

jdginaz20 Sep 2017 4:28 p.m. PST

Probably attacked the bystanders out of habit

Classy comments guys…

There are always out of impact area "incidents" in military live fire training. Everything from artillery impacting in a subdivisions to Bradley IFV brewing up their wingman.

Not acceptable but reality.

@ScoutJock – yeah, short rounds etc. It happens.

For some reason, live fire of weapons systems is dangerous and on occasion people get injured or killed when operating them.

Can't think why?
