I know this may seem like an odd request, but I'm working on a Dark Ages game in which the Vikings plunder a Saxon village and then load the stuff on wagons and carts in order to haul it to their longships. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes miniature loads of plunder (sacks, boxes and treasure of various kinds) that would fit in 25/28mm wagons? Thanks in advance for any help! |

I think the average Saxon village would have sheep, pigs, goats, hens and perhaps the occasional horse or ox. 'Treasure' might be Saxes and the occasional chain and ring on the noble in charge. Some cash might be gained from the people. For real treasure you need a town, with a church! |

Foundry have their GP range, which has a pack of boxes etc. They also used to have the Darkest Africa range with more rolls and bundles in. For chests of treasure etc, try The Dice Bag Lady who carries Ristules' resin scenery which has a pack of 12 chests. Otherwise, as people have commented it'd be livestock, and the women folk. |

Loot from villages would probably have been a lot plainer than you would think. Besides livestock you would probably see pots and pans, tools, Clothing, etc… all of which would have value in the dark ages beyond what we would think of today. |
