I am under the impression, possibly a false one, that the Krupps used by the Bavarian Army in the 1866 and '70 had bronze tubes rather than steel. Am I correct or do I have my wires crossed? Thanks

Bavarian Krupp guns had bronze tubes. Dark Grey painted carrage.
