Prompted by the number of requests about the construction, size and the material used for my DBA terrain I decided to reply in a manner that would be helpful to answer the majority of questions asked and yet to be asked. The link will bring you to an introduction page with further links to each of the ‘home terrain'' categories. Where features are duplicated, I placed other photos to illustrate different colour schemes; hills in the south of France should look different from the hills to be found in the deserts of North Africa. The overview is the accumulated ‘hit and miss' effort of several years of building terrain pieces with many of these going through three or four versions. Are these the final product? I doubt it, as I am continually exploring with the ‘look' of terrain features; in that regard, the Witcher project has been very inspiring. link Cheers, Robert |
