My next land project looks like it's going to be the Williamite War in Ireland. Not done too badly on research on the Williamite Army, but things are a bit harder with the Jacobite. Any decent sources on the army of Séamus an Chaca chaps? Particularly interested in the uniforms and structure. TIA |

McNally's book on the Boyne has useful information on the units, size and indication of way they were armed; not much on uniforms though. I think Grants book on the period may have a little bit as well ( can't check because I am all packed for a house move). |

Bought the pdfs that jocknroll posted the link to; they are incredibly informative and give you pretty much everything you need to paint up the armies of the Boyne. |
