…heads with service pistols. "Most of us are familiar with the story of William Tell, the legendary folk hero in Switzerland that was forced to shoot an apple off of his son's head after failing to bow to the newly appointed Austrian Vogt, Albrecht Gessler. Tell, according to legend, got the apple with the very first bolt fired from his crossbow, though he had drawn a second bolt already, which he intended to use to kill Gessler, had he failed…" Main page link Seems to be no problem with replacements… (smile) Amicalement Armand

Stupid and foolish and unprofessional behavior. That does not prove your skill, only your willingness to have people killed pointlessly. It violates every rule of firearms safety. Mike Bunkermeister Creek bunkermeister.blogspot.com |

Bunkermeister – Russian Alfa Group forces shoot each other at point blank range with pistols and SMGs while wearing body armour as an exercise in confidence building. I'm sure our SOFOR have equally insane levels of training and marksmanship etc. |

Are they training their parachutists by tossing a chute out of the plane and letting the soldier jump, chute-less, after it? That'll boost confidence, too. Among other things. |

I can see the point of the Russian exercise under controlled conditions, after all you probably don't want the first sub-lethal strike on your armour to surprise you and make you loose your situational awareness in the middle of a fire fight! The Chinese version strikes me as dumb (and will probably stop the moment the son of a party official gets shot). Assuming its real or are we in hypersonic torpedo territory here? |

Given some of the armor the russian soldiers use. I doubt they'll even feel pistol rounds that much. (They are basically bipedal tanks) |
