Does anyone know if this picture is from a different take on HG Wells' The Time Machine?

Or is it part of some later Pulp or SF concept art?

Dan, the text says it's an illustration from Wells' "First Men in the Moon" (1901). An art expert I'm not, but it feels like early 20th Century work to me.

I don't think they put the right info in the caption. Maybe something else by Wells. I'll keep looking.
