link Not too academic book on the Silk trade between Han China and the Roman empire and the ancient world economy in general. Interesting read for those versed in economics, though. I found the subject interesting comparing Han China to the Roman Empire and how they were different, too. Recommended. |

I thought this book very good. It gives a new idea about the fall of the Roman Empire. That the Romans ran out of hard money , i.e… GOLD and Silver. |
