Not too academic book on the Silk trade between Han China and the Roman empire and the ancient world economy in general. Interesting read for those versed in economics, though. I found the subject interesting comparing Han China to the Roman Empire and how they were different, too.

Recommended.

I thought this book very good. It gives a new idea about the fall of the Roman Empire. That the Romans ran out of hard money , i.e… GOLD and Silver.
