Thank you very much for sharing, those are all great but I really appreciate the aerial views, they seem to be really high quality images – the one of what looks like an event in Amsterdam struck me in particular. Also the canal (river?) of Alphen aan den Rijn is fascinating with the buildings backing right onto the water for the whole stretch, and the whole village is along the river, not circular with a river in the middle. And no bridge in sight! Found you can download them in their original size, and they zoom in well. These will be very helpful in setting up terrain for 1940/44/45 scenarios. |

And I just realized I was only on page 1 of 12 of the aerial photos! |

Hope you like them, I think they are great. This is the Netherlands before the big after war industrialisation, motorways, damage by the war etc etc. |

I do like them, have saved several for future reference and book-marked the site. Like you said, it's great to see the pre-war landscape. |

I noticed flickr doesnt functions anymore, the pictures are now on the NIMH site themselves: link you can brows though various collections (collectie) and although in Dutch it is easy enough I think For the aireal pictures go to "Foto Technische Dienst Luchtvaartafdeeling (3.589)" |
