The Arizona, The Vietnam and the Korean War from that list. Many more that aren't in the top ten in several different countries.

All of Gettysburg is a memorial, of course. And what happened to me as I walked up through Devil's Den toward Little Round Top cannot be built into a memorial. It was metaphysical and totally unannounced. On the path I suddenly felt this awe that started at the top of my head and left through the soles of my feet. It stopped me in my tracks. It was profound reverence for the place and the men who had fought there. "Hallowed ground" were the words that came out like a whisper. The feeling lasted for a prolonged moment and as it started to fade, or I got used to it, I moved on up to the Little Round Top. To this day, it is my most profound spiritual experience.
