All, I am looking for figures on the very heroic end of 28mm in roughly 13th – early 14th century garb. Following on my Fantasy post, I want people that will look big enough against a 25mm (top of head) Dwarf. |

Take a look at Front Rank as they are large 28mm, although they maybe a bit too late. link Perhaps some of the Mirliton range too, although they vary a between big 25mm to large 28mm. link You could try some of the large fantasy ranges such as Mithril (32mm). |

I was thinking of Front Rank. |

the early Front Rank range is meant to cover mid-14th century, or the first phase of the HYW. Some figures may work. And the figures are indeed large, matching up well with GW Bretonnian and Empire figures. Blackbtree Design may have some figures as well, and they are also on the large end of the spectrum. |

The BTD figures are pretty much what I am looking for if the size is good. Front Rank are good as well. After all, this is essentially a fantasy project. |

BTD Men of Averaign fantasy are as big as Front Rank and GW. In fact, the foot figures are actually taller than the newest plastic Bretonnians from GW. The historical HYW and other BTD figures are slightly smaller, but still a chunk larger than Old Glory, Perry, etc., and will work with Front Rank and such on the same base. The BTD Helsinian fantasy are completely different and thinner/shorter. |

Basically I need minis that measure 30mm or so to the eye. That definitely rules out the Fireforge plastics. |
