I believe that these are the Saxon Miniatures lines. There is a note on their website about being under new ownership… saxonminiatures.com |

Colin's sculpts are first class. A wee bit pricier than before he sold to Warlord but all in all a great value. It's 7 pts for Saga. You'll need a warlord. The Ship can be had on Amazon in the mid twenties. |

It's Borglord Games: 'Everything will be assimilated'. They certainly have acquired a number of ranges from various companies, but my understanding is that this has been usually due to the owner of the company being no longer able to run the business. I think it is a lot better that the ranges are picked by another company with resources to keep them available, rather than going totally out of production. |

If it saves ranges from disappearing then I'm all in favour. These look nice. Glad I bought my longship at my local model store when they had it for £17.00 GBP |

Griefbringer: Absolutely, it seems to be far less a case of hostile take-overs than Warlord "saving" figures from going out of production, like they did with the landsknechts. |

Still though, those archers are nice. As much as I love the Gripping Beast minis, the crouching archer they do is totally unrealistic. Sculpter maybe forgot that although you don't sculpt a bowstring, you need to behave like it's there? |
