I came across this by accident earlier today. I hope they fuel your gaming and terrain-making spark.

QUESTION
Do you know of similar Hi-Res treasure troves of vintage SF illustrations, specially of drawings and "woodcuts"?

Or I guess the alternative is to click on every Google image, one by one, and see which ones are the "crispest"? :)

The I do a google image search and put the cursor over the thumbnails it displays the dimensions of the image in pixels, so I immediately have some idea of the resolution. Does your browser not do that?

Also, if you click "Tools" you can constrain your search in different ways, including size. If you only search for large images you'll only get the "hi res" ones.

Thanks for sharing!

Great Verne and Wells illustrations. I must confess that I like Disney's take on the "Nautilus" much more.
