Absolutely fascinating article in ISIS tank upgrades and operations. Includes details on markings and serials.

Of note are SUVs equipped with BMP1 turrets and bizarre multi spectral armour designed to cover vehicle from aircraft! Also note usaeage of German style schurzen plates on T-55s!

Oryx has some phenomenal information about Syrian Civil War.
