Are the old Ral Partha sculpts in production by IWM or someone else? They used to have some classic elf cavalry types. I would buy more of those if I could. I lost all my high elf lancers to lead rot some years back. They were beautiful and they never broke morale. |

I like the figures Tom Meier does. Thunderbolt Mountain miniatures are absolutely superb if pricey.

@dsfrank: True, but they don't make any cavalry units. Just a few mounted heroes. @Bashtubybits: Thanks, those are lovely. I think a unit of 20 mounted for $97 USD is actually reasonable considering Black Tree are $8 USD/each! @saltflats: Those are nice. Anyone know how many come in a pack from Old Glory? The pic shows two and the price is $13 USD, but I'm guessing the packs contain what? Six? Eight? |

Two per pack from Old Glory, if you are looking at their Ghost fantasy range. The Infantry is six per pack, the cavalry is two per pack. |

I know you are, I just was helping dragon6.
I have some of the old glory Ghost fantasy miniatures and all the cavalry come 2 to a pack. The infantry are 6 figures. Some of the larger infantry like trolls come 2 or 3 to a pack. The figures are nice, not sure how well they fit alongside Perry LOTR though. |

They put them in the Hobbit section. Actually, finding figures on their site now, for whatever game, seems much more complicated than it used to be. I don't use their Warhammer figures, but I still look at them sometimes, and finding things now that they've re-organized who is who is really difficult. I used to be able to click High Elves and find them all. Now I have to guess, because I don't know the names. I do use the LotR figures, but having the Hobbit figures does make me wonder if I've missed something sometime. And I still have to paint my elf cavalry. They intimidate me. andy |
