Good evening

Does anyone know of a suitable set of rules I can use for a game with paper figures like these? (Need a break from painting)

I looked at the scenario on the website and it only uses 2 divisions for Salamanca – there are some good looking paper figures on there so would like to use them all

Any Napoleonic rule set at all will work. You'll just want to base your paper lads to teh basing requirements of the rules you choose (or failry close).

That said, Black Powder is a deliberately flexible rule set designed to use multiple figure collections of varying basing. All units are simply small, regular or large and players just need to roll with that imprecision so to speak.

Thanks for that – that's what I was thinking – just use normal ruleset and scale down accordingly.

There's a smaller set for Lundy's Lane or Bladensburg which I might give a go first.

You could always use cut and paste to make more stands if you needed to. Pretty easy even with just paint or Powerpoint.

Hello ferg981!

If your looking for the War of 1812 and Napoleonic's you might want to have a look at Ruse de Guerre from Baccus6mm. Although designed for 6mm it works for any scale including paper figures.

Best regards,

I designed my Napoleonic paper armies for use with the Blucher Rules.

I would recommend Black Powder Rules. Hope it helps.

As always, comments are appreciated.

Take care
