My copy of George Nafziger's new edition of Lutzen and Bautzen 1813 has arrived at last!

Been a long wait but looks really worth it. Love the new colour maps.

Just got to plough through all the Waterloo related titles I bought and have yet to read. Then again, I might jump the queue with this title.

is it a reprint of the series he did a few years back

I'd presume they are reprints???
Invaluable books , the writing may not flow easily at times but it's a blow by blow often daily recounting of events . Hats off to mr Nafziger
Now colour maps would be an improvement as old black n white can be hard to separate roads rivers etc at times

It is a reprint, but with new, colour maps. The b/w images in the text may have changed somewhat, too.

I don't have a copy of the original version, only the new edition with colour maps, but I believe they are reprints. That is great for those, like me, who missed them the first time around.

However, I already owned the original Dresden volume of the trilogy and I'm not sure the colour plates alone will make me fork out for another copy. But I will go for the Leipzig volume which I believe may be out in 2018.
