I will be running a Battle of Auerstadt game at Rock Con this year. 20-22 October in Rockford Illinois. I will be using the Ago of Eagles v2 rules.

I should have the required troops finished to run both Jena & Auerstadt at Adepticon.

While the troops are finished for Auerstadt, I will now begin construction of the battlefield. I will be posting pictures on facebook of my progress.

Haven't played the rules but I'll be looking for the game. Thanks.

Great campaign, lots of intriguing "what-ifs".

I just finished Saalfeld and am starting to work on Auerstadt using Snappy Nappy rules. While I was painting bicorns, I realized with the addition of Russians and a few Austrians, I could do Austerlitz and Eylau, too!!!

I am also working on the troops to run an Eylau, Friedland, and Austerlitz game. Friedland & Eylau should be finished next year and then shortly afterwards Austerlitz.

Great. What scale are you doing it in?

mumbasa26 Aug 2017 10:16 p.m. PST

I'm retired so I use 6mm so I can buy both sides. I think Marengo could be done also.

I do all mine in 15/18mm. For the games about 99% of the figures are Blue Moon.

Sounds interesting for a collection of historical battles project. Please post some photos when available. Personally, I have Saalfeld 1806 on my own schedule for the HMGS-PSW convention Oct 1st. Using the groups rules since 1977 and 28mm scale. I have been posting a slow preparation blog report with updates on my progress towards the Saalfeld scenario.

Would love to see that. I've gamed Waterloo and want to do more Napoleonic battles.

Awesome stuff. Love this period it's my fav. I started a new range of 28mm figures for this period this February always adding to it. threearmies.co.uk

Three Armies…. lovely miniatures, will have to have a closer viewing. Maybe expand into 1805-1808 Russians next?
