Hi, I'm trying to find after-market detailing stuff for 1/72 German tanks.

I'm currently building two each of Armourfast Pz III G and Pz IV D, and all the models lack numerous bit of detail: notek lights, jacks, fire-extinguishers, tools (axes, spades, cutters, etc.).

I scratch-built wheel-stowage boxes on the Pz IVs, and I've added spare track from a PSC tank detailing set, but I can't find the other stuff listed above in 1/72 anywhere. Does anyone know if anybody out there does such stuff? (pref in the UK)

Cheers, Sebastian

Thanks genew49. They're helpful.

Still need to find (or perhaps scratch-build?) cutter, jack, notek & fire-extinguishers tho'… and even some improved front road lights for the Pz III

You're welcome. Best of luck searching.

Got a feeling MMS did some gear for tanks, though check quick as they closing down on Barrys retirement end of Sept, yes they do, A20 at £2.95 GBP German AFV detailing pack. Had a few and they very nice. ( TYping and googling as I type lol)

Thanks guys. Sgts Mess & MMS stuff (shame no pic of the latter at MMS website) sound promising. The Sgts Mess GM11 set looks nigh on perfect for my porpoises… thanks again fellas :-)

Hi Emilio, thanks. Couldn't see any tools, but I do like the steel72 stuff, esp the figures. Thanks, Seb

I would suggest you take a look at Tracks & Troops 1/72 from Slovakia. A great centre for modelling needs. I have been purchasing from them for years and have found lots of surprising results. Also take a look at "On The Way" for 1/72 reviews and ideas.
