Does CY6! Jet Age handle the viffing capability of the Harrier?

I found the answer to my question in the scenario section of the rule book.

I thought that I read somewhere that Harrier pilots did not 'viff' during the Falklands War.

VIFFing would be, at best, a last-ditch sort of thing. When you vector your thrust downwards, you are no longer thrusting forwards. This results in a LOT of deceleration which leaves you basically an energy-less brick. Not saying it can't be useful, just saying you better be right.

As cmdrpowers said – is actually rarely used
