Does it? Most photos I see of tanks show them to be far less beaten up.

Excellent modelling artwork though, so that is not to deny the skill. But I often find models exaggerated and overstated compared to most photos I see. But no doubt there must be photos of tanks in this state as well

Very heavily weathered sure, and incredibly well executed, but not that "beaten up" just filthy dirty.
Yet I agree with Marc, so often you see models which are so chipped and worn as to be beyond belief, yet in reality the vehicle might only be a few weeks old…still, modelers have got to model, otherwise, whats the point?
