One thing that I noticed is that the Warlord figures are not molded to have their own integral base (the Perry figs. are). This might be fine if you are planning to use the included plastic bases, but if that is not your plan it could be a bit of a problem fixing them to bases made of something other than plastic where the glue doesn't take hold in a few seconds. It could make rebasing these minis. later on a lot more difficult too. This is just something that I realized when looking at the videos of them on youtube. This certainly gives me pause to order any of the WG figures.

I have both, with the Warlord figures I normally glue the body to the base before I start adding the arms etc. I have not had any problem with them. I don't use the plastic bases, and have been gluing them to 1" fender washers with "Tacky" glue, no problems. ( I do put a piece of masking tape oover the hole in the washer.)

I actually glue the plastic bases to 1" fender washers so each figure will stick to a magnetic sheet. You can line a plastic container with a peel and stick magnetic sheet for transporting individual figures like my WWII figs or use it to make a base for figures that will be in formation.

I am looking to put 4 to 6 figures on each base.

I have been mounting WGF/Warlord figures on "temporary" bases made from matt board using pvc glue. Many of them have been mounted that way for two years without coming loose, but my bases don't contain more than 4 figures.

I have both in my AWI armies. I mount my troops two to a base. I use Rendera stands with metal washers glued underneath so they stick to a magnetic sheet in their boxes. Rendera makes alot of different sizes so 3-4 to a stand can be easily accamdated. The troops are all mounted with the same mfg, so Warlord with warlord and Perry with Perry. I mount the Perry figures on a two base thick stand. That brings them up to just about even with the Warlord troops. I have tried different glues for the Warlord figs an have had best success with gorilla glue epoxy – but I'm sure most expoxy products work just as well. They all look nice on the tabletop. No one has complained yet. H

Maybe it is jus me, but I find Warlord plastic a little more brittle than Perry's. Anyone else have the same problem?

I use white glue to plastic bases for WGF. I occasionally have to repair one of the miniatures that separates from the base by rough handling.

I trim the sides off the WGF base so that they are flat, like the Perry bases. I mount 6 figures per stand, so you should have no problem.
This is how they turned out.

Cut the renedra bases into small strips, glue to figures (WF) then superglue to pennies (UK). I use warbases stands with magnets.
