Eric shows us how he turns a wooden piggy bank into a Roman temple but more interesting how he builds giant worms from not much sutff with a result as often bluffing.

Oh that worm is brilliant – so simple now I see it – wish I'd thought of it

I'm reading the blog using google translate. The blogger refers to "lead sheets" to make the armor. Anyone know what he's talking about?

I would have thought the worm was mass-produced. Wow, I like it a lot!

Thanks Armand!

Xin: I think he's simply speaking about cardboard, like from a cereal box. I don't see anything in his materials that is made of lead.

It's a cool project, a great scratchbuilding idea.

Hey guys,

thank you for your comments.

Xin : when i speak about "lead sheet" it's about a material you can find in hobby shop or flower ones (for flower arrangement). You can find it too in DIY store for roofing but more thick.
you can see it on the left :

here a sample of the work on a naked LOTR artillery Troll :

the worm is armoured with cardboard, in a wrong unnatural way : The armour scales are stack in the opposite of the logical…..too fast in the building of the monster and too late for changing this fact. i see it when my 4 worms were based and painted.

Cheers
Eric
