The Estonian movie "1944" tells the story of Estonians who fought for the Germans and for the Russians in WWII by following the fate of small groups of soldiers on both sides from July to September, 1944. Very well done drama but worthwhile for the uniforms and equipment alone. The first half follows Estonians in the Waffen SS and contains most of the battle scenes. The second half follows Estonians in the Red Army. Sadly, it is dubbed in English, although this is very well done, but I would have rather it was in Estonian with subtitles. I got it through Amazon Prime. A very good movie.

Another recommend. Saw it on Amazon as well. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Oh finally! Been waiting for access to this for so long now. I will go check Prime and get it sorted. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm sure I got this off youtube but can't find it now. Didn't get round to watching it maybe because I couldn't find subtitles for it.

It looked good. I suspect I have it somewhere as I rarely delete things I haven't watched.
