"The French 194mm GPF gun system was introduced end of WW I. It served in the French army until 1940. The German Wehrmacht captured more than 50 of this Guns and used them until WW II ends at eastern and western front. One gun unit consisting two vehicles, one gun carriage and one ammo / crew carriage, which also provides the electrical energy for the drives of both carriages. The gun carriage was conected during driving with a long cable. Set of two gun carriers and two ammo/crew carriers"

Took me a while to puzzle out what I was seeing in that top picture. They look like they have excellent detail. None of the contour lines I've seen on 3d printed stuff used for business prototypes.

I wonder how long it will be before 3d printing comes down to ( what I would consider ) reasonable pricing.

The pictures are not of the finished product but are a digital preview according to the site, so they still don't truly represent what you will buy.

If you follow the link in my previous post then you can see the actual models painted up, at least for the self-propelled version. The 3D printing effects are just visible if you look closely before painting but not apparent when sitting on the table ready for action. My one concern is that the material is quite brittle so you need to be careful with the gun and the railings in particular. They will stand up to normal handling in a wargame context but could break in transit if not packaged really well.

Beautifully detailed though. And a joy to paint.

Like many WW I designs very bizarre looking! Thanks for the photos Robert, very much appreciated and gives a good idea of the model.
