The guys at the back in the "slouch" hats look like Austrian Legion The ones wearing havelocks could be any Imperial army unit. From the look of their uniform I don't think that they are Belgians It also looks like a bunch of sailors on the right but I wasn't aware that the Imperial army had any sailors Interesting photo – where did you find it? |

I agree Austrian Legion. I would think fairly early as they are wearing the initial uniform. I would guess Mexican units for the others. |

Austrian Legion iS correct..French Sailors is also correct..they operated on the coastw/ the volunteers dMartinique and naval artillery. And yes Imperaial infantry is also correct.Probably on their way to Baghdad on the Border w/ Texas. |

With reference to the Officer's Hat-Chicken*, how is this factored into game terms? Does it add to the leadership abilities? Accuracy? Elan? I know the ChapeauPolo were intended to terrify the enemy in Algeria.
