Hi Guys.
I'm researching US Army uniforms in NW Europe during WWII.

What do you recommend as the best reference on the subject?
I'm looking for all the little details if possible, changes and modifications over time, winter uniforms, any differences between units, camo, etc.

Not worried about airborne at this point.

Thanks for your help!

I have "The World War 2 GI – US Army Uniforms 1941-45 in Color Photographs" by Richard Windrow and Tim Hawkins. I think it is very good

Mick has hit on what I think is probably the best single source.
