I'm attending Gencon (A Family event!), no ancients besides multiple listings of Siege of Bodenburg? |

Siege of Bodenburg is medieval, not ancient. And GenCon is only marginally a (non-fantasy) miniatures convention anyway. |

There are always tables for open gaming and non-scheduled events. Take a walk through. |

Gen Con allows people to run whatever games they want. The first Gen Con I went to had an entire hall of historical miniatures. The show isn't any more or less friendly to historical miniatures than it ever was, so if you run historical events, you will get players. It's just that folks aren't running games there. |

Didn't we do this like two weeks ago? Historical gaming does not survive in "general" conventions, but the F&SF crowd says we're really stupid, mean and sinning against diversity if we hold historical wargaming conventions and mean it. |
